UPDATE: I appreciated the manager’s response to me and willingness to try to make things right and learn from this experience. Because of that I am changing my review overall to 5 stars Quality seems to have gone down with this Swiss chalet, was very disappointed. I was ripped off with the amount of sweet potato fries I received with my order. My family member received a bunch of very crunchy bad French fries as well. The chicken and ribs tasted fine but was quite disappointing the quality and quantity as well.

Amazing customer experience: As I was leaving with my family with little kids, I was cleaning the snow off my car, the manager and two servers came out in the snowstorm and asked if we had left our phone on the table! In our busyness with kids we accidentally left our phone on the table and they obviously saw that and rushed out to get it to us before we left! Thank you :)

It was Mother's Day and the place was swamped!! Great chicken , wonderful rolls but fries weren't good, too soft , tasted fatty and old. I was disappointed with the fries. All else was great!

I'm not reviewing the food because Swiss chalet is Swiss chalet I've been having it for over 30 years I know what I'm getting when I go to social when I'm reviewing is the great interaction with staff I had last night especially in the Niagara region where hospitality actually isn't in the atmosphere here quite the opposite actually. And with this ever-changing world everything online I ordered through their website the first time probably at least half my fault for not double checking the address of the restaurant assuming that since it had my postal code it would automatically route me to the one closest to me but I'd also like to share that blame with the AI because it sent my order to Sarnia which I think is kind of odd but nonetheless the staff could have treated me poorly they could have totally put it on me to go home and fix it myself but they didn't the manager and the lovely lady working the counter I'd like to say that I might have overheard is her daughter or a wonderful duo to deal with last night they never made me feel stupid and they immediately made all the necessary calls and interactions to reroute my order to that restaurant as I'd already paid with a gift card as well that might sound silly but to me it meant a lot. So I just want to say thank you for the wonderful interactions I had last night it was pleasant to have people treat me as important and not like one of a billion other people that could be their guest that day. So happy New year to that duo

As seniors this is the place to get fresh food, fast and friendly service. Never too noisy or packed. Wait times are always reasonable. DaveP

Swiss Chalet—where do I even begin? My mother loves it, my wife loves it... me, not so much when it comes to their rotisserie chicken (it’s just not my thing). That said, their ribs are absolutely fantastic, and on my most recent visit, I tried their chicken wings—they were delicious! The waitress was wonderful, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I can’t even recall if there was music playing, which is a huge plus for me. So many restaurants blast music at an irritating volume, and as someone with sensory issues, the quieter ambiance here was a blessing. My mother ordered the chicken parm, and my wife had the pot pie—aside from the sneaky peas. She loved it. Both of them thoroughly enjoyed their meals, which made the experience even better. Overall, while Swiss Chalet might not be my first choice for rotisserie chicken, I can always count on them for great service, a nice atmosphere, and other menu options that hit the spot. Normally, a complaint about the food would be a mark against it, but as the two people who actually like that kind of food had a wonderful meal, I won't hold it against them. Thank you for a wonderful meal. 5 stars.

A good amount of parking. My server was great as well. My well was great. I forgot to take a picture. I had white meat chicken, honey garlic, ribs and fries. Swiss Chalet dinner rolls are yummy. I would attend this location again!

Great experience dining in this establishment. My compliments to Carlos for the best fries I've had at any Swiss Chalet. I can't tell you how often I'm served fries having most of the portion consisting of bottom fryer crumbs and even had to send my plate back to correct this in other places. The service was very pleasant and first time I never had to ask for an extra napkin. Might seem simple thing but often times when I've had to ask for an extra napkin other locations Id sometimes get a tiny square one that acts as a thin drink coaster.. not even joking. Thank you Swiss Chalet, I really appreciate your top efforts in serving your customers. Well done.

Renowned for its hearty rotisserie chicken and comforting fare, Swiss Chalet has been a staple in the culinary landscape, promising not only delicious meals but also a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

At Swiss Chalet, the hand-held selections are sure to tantalize your taste buds. The Bacon Cheeseburger is grilled to perfection, featuring crispy bacon and melted cheddar cheese atop a toasted bun. Accompanied by fresh lettuce, red onion, tomato, and a dollop of mayo, it serves as a fulfilling option for burger lovers. While the menu is inviting, the service at Swiss Chalet is equally commendable. Customers consistently speak highly of the friendly and accommodating staff. For instance, one customer, Alex Leslie, shared their appreciation for the manager’s swift response to an issue, which transformed a disappointing experience into a five-star review. This level of attentiveness exemplifies the restaurant's commitment to customer satisfaction.

Patrons have celebrated the warm hospitality, particularly in family-oriented settings. Nicholas Ng fondly recounted how the staff went above and beyond to return a forgotten phone during a snowy outing, showcasing a level of care that isn’t always found in the bustling world of restaurants.

However, while many reviews praise the delicious rotisserie chicken and rolls, some customers have expressed concerns about side dishes like fries not meeting expectations. For example, Valerie Stevens noted that, although the chicken was exceptional, the fries were disappointing. Despite these mixed reviews, the overall sentiment of the dining experience tends to lean towards the positive.

In summary, Swiss Chalet is more than just a restaurant; it’s a place where comfort food and customer care come together to create a memorable dining experience. Whether you’re in the mood for a juicy burger, delectable wings, or just a warm ambiance on a chilly night, Swiss Chalet is ready to welcome you with open arms.
